eBay’s Austin outpost is home to customer service, billing, and other functions critical to supporting eBay in the Southwest. Career opportunities are on the rise, as Texas is increasingly becoming a place where many big-name tech companies are locating operational units. In fact, Texas has led the way in U.S. job growth over the past several years, so there’s gold in our Silicon Hills. And our office is right in the thick of it — fun, fast, laid back, and a little wild, with free gym membership to keep us all fit.
These days, it seems like everybody is moving to Texas, especially Austin. And for good reason. It’s the music capital of the world, with tons of live performances and happenings, including the annual SXSW (South by Southwest) festival. There’s a remarkably varied nightlife scene, and gorgeous venues for outdoor activities that make it a great family friendly place to live. And the food! Don’t get us started. Just come on down.
